Tottenham target states desire to stay at Bayern Munich

Tottenham have suffered a blow in their pursuit of Brazilian full-back Rafinha after he expressed his desire to stay at Bayern Munich.

Recent reports suggested Bayern would be willing to part ways with the 27-year-old in the January transfer window, but he fully intends to see out his contract at the Allianz Arena, which ends in 2014.

"I have a contract until June 2014 and leaving Bayern is not in my plans now," he told Brazilian newspaper O Globo.

"This is very clear because I dream of winning major titles with this club.

"I lost two months through injury this season and I now just want to get my place back in the starting line-up and play like last year."
