Porto star to reject Premier League offers and stay in Portugal

Christian Atsu says he wants to reject offers from Premier League clubs in favour of staying at Porto.

Chelsea have recently monitored the winger, 20, while Tottenham have tracked him in the past.

Atsu is enjoying a decent season in Portugal and is seen as one of the club's rising stars - with no shortage of admirers from abroad.

The Ghana international, however, believes now is not the time to move.

"I am very happy at Porto because the club is like family to me," Atsu told Record. "To continue at Porto is a dream for me and I hope to finish this year with a contract renewal. According to my agent, we are doing well in negotiations and I do not care about the rumours from abroad.

"My mind is with Porto."
