West Brom chase young Belgium defender

West Brom are leading the growing pack of clubs interested in Lokeren defender Laurens De Bock.

De Bock, who turned 20 last week, has represented Belgium at youth levels and earned his first call-up to the senior squad for their friendly against Romania on Wednesday night.

Stoke City, Reading, Wolves and Ajax are also tracking the 20-year-old, and Lokeren assistant coach Rudi Cossey feels his club may not be able to hang on to the left-back for much longer.

"For us, it has been clear for a long time that he will end up at a top club," Cossey told Sport/Voetbalmagazine.
