Julian Dicks claims Nicolas Anelka can add ‘another dimension’ to West Ham’s attacking play.

The former Chelsea star has been linked with a January transfer move to Sam Allardyce’s side, following a tumultuous time at Shanghai Shenhua.

And former Hammers star Dicks insists the 33-year-old would be a hit with the Upton Park faithful.

“He’s a fantastic player,” Dicks told Extra Time. “I would love him to come to West Ham. He’d add another dimension. He’s very quick, he knows where the goal is and he brings others into play.

“He’s been at quite a few clubs, and there are reasons for that, but if West ham could get him then I’m all for that.”
