Inter Milan to rival Man City for young Sampdoria star
Inter Milan want to scupper Manchester City's plans to sign Pedro Obiang and will make their move this January.
Chelsea are also interested in the Sampdoria star but, considering their turmoil at present, scouring the market for players is the least pressing concern.
City have been keen for a while on the 20-year-old, who signed professional terms with Sampdora in 2010.
But Inter Milan believe they have the upper hand as they think Obiang is settled in Italy and would only consider remaining in Serie A for now.
