Manchester United striker Josh King is set to sign for Blackburn on loan.
The youngster has managed just two sub appearances for United since being spotted at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's soccer school five years ago, including a brief cameo in Tuesday night's Champions League defeat at Galatasaray.
The speedy striker King has suffered a string of injuries that have held him back since he signed professional terms in 2009, but United do not want to give up on the 20-year-old and are keen for him to try his luck on loan again.
King has already had spells at Preston, Borussia Mönchengladbach and Hull, with Blackburn now next in line.
United and Rovers have a decent working relationship and former Old Trafford defender Henning Berg is confident he can get King in before the weekend.
