Newcastle and West Ham target Miralem Sulejmani will leave Ajax in January.
The winger, who can also play as a forward, has long been linked with a move to England and his next stop could be the Premier League.
Ajax will sell the Serbian in the transfer window as he has fallen out of favour at the club.
A contract dispute and a succession of injuries has led to Sulejmani's unrest and he has made just five sub appearances for Ajax this season.
And now the 23-year-old, who was heavily linked with a switch to Upton Park in the summer, says he is leaving the Amsterdam club.
"I must now focus on games in the reserves," Sulejmani told Serbian newspaper Vecernje Novosti.
"I have to get game time in order to be fully fit during the winter, when I will get a chance to leave."
