Arsenal and Chelsea could be forced to ramp up their interest in Paris St. Germain’s Marco Verratti after Juventus emerged as serious contenders to sign him.
Verratti has excelled while at PSG and his performances have been noted by the two Premier League sides.
The pair will have to move quickly, though, if they want to secure the midfielder as Juventus are very keen.
Carlo Ancelotti is under increasing pressure at PSG and could be axed - and the Parisian club could also lose one of their brightest prospects as Juve close in.
Verratti has a good relationship with Ancelotti and will seek an exit if the former Chelsea manager gets sacked, with the Serie A side confident they can beat interest from England to land the 20-year-old.
