Wesley Sneijder could be the latest high-profile arrival at PSG, which would end Manchester United's hopes of taking him to Old Trafford.
Sir Alex Ferguson is a known admirer of Dutch superstar Sneijder, who has not played since September because of a contract row at Inter.
The 28-year-old looks certain to leave the San Siro and it has been suggested that United would find a home for him at Old Trafford.
But now reports in France have suggested that big-spending PSG want to tempt him to the French capital.
L'Equipe report that the club's director of football Leonardo has been regularly speaking with Sneijder on the phone, fuelling speculation about the switch.
