Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed he will be extremely active in the January transfer window as he looks to save his side from relegation.
The manager guided his side to a shock 1-0 win over rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night as Shaun Wright-phillips snatched a winner for them.
But Redknapp has insisted that, despite a sensational rearguard display from his side, he will be making signings over the next month.
“There is not a lot of depth [in the squad]. I had to play Adel Taarabt up front tonight.”
He added: “I thought little Joe was going come but it took a little while to get it done and West Ham have come in.
“I understand where Joe is coming from. West Ham was his club. He started out there as an 11 year-old and the fans love him there, so I wish him all the best. He’s a great lad.”
