Sevilla have rejected a £14m offer for Chelsea and Newcastle target Alvaro Negredo - and their president insists they are under no pressure to sell the Spain forward this year.
Negredo, who has scored 53 league goals since joining Sevilla in 2009, has been linked with a number of Premier League teams in recent years.
The 27-year-old was a part of Spain's Euro 2012-winning squad and has been tipped to provide competition for compatriot Fernando Torres at Stamford Bridge.
Questions over the Sevilla's finances have fuelled suggestions the club will look to cash in on Negredo, but president Jose Maria del Nido is adamant that this is not the case.
"We do not need to sell now or in June," he told Diario de Sevilla.
"There are bids on the table for seven players that have been rejected. Negredo, in particular, has refused an offer from a top European team."
