Hughton: Norwich will look to strengthen squad in January

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has revealed the club will look to add to multiple areas of the squad during the January transfer window.

The Canneries boss was speaking following his side’s comfortable 3-0 win against Peterborough in the FA Cup – which ended the club's run of four straight defeats - and though they sit comfortably mid-table in the Premier League, they look short of options upfront.

“We’re working in all areas but we need to score goals, that’s what we need to do,” said Hughton.

“We’ve got good strikers already at this club, but we are working [to make signings].

“It’s our responsibility that if we’re able to strengthen what we’ve already got then we’ll look to do that.”
