Spanish striker Iago Aspas has handed Swansea City a transfer blow by insisting he has no plans to leave Celta Vigo before the end of the month.
Laudrup's summer signings from Spain, such as Michu and Chico Flores, have taken to the Premier League immediately and he is keen to secure the forward's signature.
However, the 25-year-old, who has eight league goals to his name already this term, is adamant he is staying put at Celta for the time being.
"I have read many things saying that I would leave in the winter window, but that is not true," he told Point Press.
"I have already said several times that I will be here until at least June 30. Then we will see what is best for the club and for me.
"I have spent 17 years at Celta and I am very proud to belong to this club. Now I am very calm because I have a contract until 2017."
