Tottenham could hijack Fenerbahce's move for Younes Belhanda - with the Morocco star reportedly keen on a switch to north London.
Belhanda, who plays for French side Montpellier, has reached an agreement with Fenerbahce ahead of a potential transfer.
But the Turkish club have yet to strike a deal with the playmaker's current club, who are demanding £9.8m.
Fenerbahce are believed to have offered £6.5m, and their failure to meet Montpellier's asking price could open the door for Tottenham, who have monitored the 22-year-old in recent months.
Belhanda, who scored against Arsenal in the Champions League earlier this season, is intrigued by the prospect of moving to London and would consider a move to Spurs.
