Fulham are set to face competition for Maarten Stekelenburg - with Fiorentina weighing up a move for the Holland goalkeeper.
Martin Jol is desperate to line up a long-term replacement for current No.1 Mark Schwarzer, who turns 41 in October, and he is keen to bring Stekelenburg, who worked under him at Ajax, to west London.
The 30-year-old has fallen out of favour at Roma and his agent recently hinted that he would seek to leave the Italian capital.
But Fiorentina have also been alerted to the goalkeeper's situation and want to take him to Florence.
However, the Serie A side will face a battle to land Stekelenburg, with Roma not keen to sell to a domestic rival as both clubs jostle for a European place for next season.
