Sao Paulo have distanced themselves from reports they will clinch a permanent deal for Arsenal midfielder Denilson this month.
The Brazilian arrived at the Emirates Stadium in 2006 but made the move back to his homeland on loan in 2011.
Sao Paulo have intimated that they would look to keep the 24-year-old on a permanent basis but their president Juvenal Juvencio does not foresee clinching a deal before the end of the transfer window.
When asked about the likelihood of completing a move before the end of the window, he told Gazeta Esportiva: "It's still too early to tell what will happen. One thing is certain - I do not deal in this transfer window."
