Loic Remy, the QPR striker, has revealed he has tried to persuade France international colleague Yann M'Vila to join him at Loftus Road.
The Premier League's bottom club are still looking for reinforcements to help them battle the drop and Redknapp has targeted M'Vila, who has been heavily linked with Arsenal and Spurs in recent seasons.
QPR new-boy Remy admits he is excited by the project at the club and feels M'Vila would thrive in west London too.
He said: "I know Yann very well and I want him to come here because the project is exciting. I've told him now nice the people and the place is here. We need players like Yann M'Vila here."
