Montpellier insist Tottenham target Younes Belhanda will not be joining Fenerbahce this month - and hinted other clubs may look to sign him.
talkSPORT told you earlier this week that Fenerbahce and Montpellier failed to agree a fee and it appears that deal is completely dead now.
The French club's president Louis Nicollin also said the 22-year-old is free to go if a suitable offer emerges.
He has also suggested that other clubs have expressed an interest in signing him during the current transfer window.
He told Le 10 Sport: "Fenerbahce has offered £5.9m for him, which was a proposal we declined.
"I do not think he will be going to the Turkish club at this moment, especially when there might be other opportunities."
