Tottenham and Arsenal target Fernando Llorente will join Juventus in the summer, according to the Italian club's sporting director.
Giuseppe Marotta says the Serie A side are close to finalising a deal for the Spain and Athletic Bilbao forward, who was high on the agenda of a number of Premier League clubs
"I do not beat around the bush, we told Athletic Bilbao that we are interested in the player and I'm optimistic about his contract. He will play for Juventus from July 1," Marotta told Radio24.
The Juve chief also revealed his team will not pursue Chelsea and Manchester City target Edinson Cavani as the financial squeeze makes it almost impossible for any Italian side to sign the Napoli frontman.
"We watch the market carefully, if there are possibilities of improving the group will try to catch them. [Cavani] is not only elusive for Juve, but for all the Italian teams," Marotta added.
