Chelsea target Radamel Falcao has angrily denied he is cosying up with Real Madrid ahead of a possible summer move.
Reports in Spain have said the Atletico Madrid forward was seen dining out with Real chief Florentino Perez in a Madrid restaurant.
And there were rumours the Colombia striker had travelled with Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo to the recent Golden Ball awards.
"Everything is a lie. Lately there has been all kinds of news about me," Falcao was quoted as saying in AS.
"That I ate with Florentino is false. Nor is it true that I travelled with Cristiano to the Golden Ball gala."
The striker has hit 18 goals in as many La Liga games this season, but he is not resting on his laurels and is working hard off the pitch as well with a list of languages he is keen to learn, adding to the mystery of his next club.
Manchester City and Chelsea have been linked with a swoop for the 26-year-old, who said. "I know a little Portuguese, English is important for life and so I speak it a little better now. Then I would like to learn French or Italian."
