Spurs and Arsenal could be encouraged to bid for Younes Belhanda after Montpellier revealed they had received no offer from Inter Milan for the playmaker.
talkSPORT told you last week that the French champions had dismissed the possibility of selling Belhanda to Fenerbahce and hinted he could be on his way to another club.
Inter, who sold Holland star Wesley Sneijder earlier this week, are reportedly on the lookout for a new attacking midfielder and have been linked with the Morocco international.
However, Montpellier chairman Laurent Nicollin insists the Serie A club have not yet firmed up their interest in the 22-year-old - leaving the door open for the two north London clubs to make a move.
He told Midi Libre: "I've had no firm offer from Inter and we refused Fenerbahçe's offer to pay in three instalments."
