Fulham in the hunt for ex-Middlesbrough defender

Emmanuel Pogatetz is on his way back to England - with Fulham reportedly in the hunt to land the former Middlesbrough defender.

Sources in Germany claim the 31-year-old's agent is in England trying to drum up interest ahead of a potential return to the Premier League.

And under-pressure Fulham manager Martin Jol is reportedly keen on him, according to Kicker.

Wolfsburg defender Pogatetz has endured a miserable time at Wolfsburg since joining in the summer and the Austria international is eager for a move.

He has failed to settle in the team and has not be able to command a regular starting place, with a January move top of his priorities.
