Corinthians will not listen to any offers below £15m for Paulinho as they look to keep the midfielder from the clutches of Premier League clubs this month.
Chelsea appear the most keen but Manchester City and Liverpool have both made checks on Paulinho in the past.
A dynamic midfielder, the Brazil international's future at Corinthians is uncertain. The club are desperate to keep him but the lure of a move to a major European league has led to speculation he may ask to leave.
For now, though, Paulinho is likely to remain in Brazil. Corinthians believe ramping up the asking price to £15m will put off the likes of Chelsea as the window draws to a lose.
Apart from Manchester United's move for Wilfried Zaha - a deal that is worth £10m plus £5m add-ons, as well as Daniel Sturridge's £12m switch to Liverpool, England's top clubs have been rather quiet this window.
And Paulinho's club believe their price-tag will ensure Premier League sides stay away - for now.
