Anzhi Makhachkala defender Christopher Samba is open to a Premier League return with QPR.
The former Blackburn Rovers star has exclusively told talkSPORT that if a deal can be struck between the Russian outfit and Rangers, he is willing to speak to the Premier League strugglers.
He told talkSPORT: “Everything at Anzhi is ok and I’m happy, but if the right offer comes in for me then I will be happy to return to England”
Reports suggest that the west London club are set to activate the release clause in the former Blackburn skippers contract.
Samba 28, joined the big spending Russian side a year ago from Blackburn for £12m and is reportedly earning £100,000 per week.
Hoops boss Harry Redknapp is desperate for defensive reinforcements, with Ryan Nelson now on his way to the MLS to coach Toronto FC and Anton Ferdinand joining Bursaspor on loan.
