West Ham set to miss out on Shakhtar Donetsk star
West Ham risk losing out on Razvan Rat with Marseille closing in on a deal to sign the Romania international.
Sam Allardyce has been linked with a move for the 31-year-old as he attempts to bolster his defensive options.
But, according to reports in France, Marseille are now favourites to complete the signing from Shakhtar Donetsk this month.
The Ligue 1 side have made contact with Shakhtar, who are ready to sell left-back Rat, and the deal could be done in the next 24 hours.
