Man City target refuses to rule out move to China

Dani Alves in action for Barcelona

Manchester City target Dani Alves has refused to rule out a move to China.

Having seen the likes of Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka play there, the Barcelona full-back has claimed he would be open to a move.

Alves does not seem put off by the fact that Drogba and Anelka left Shanghai Shenhua recently after a brief spell and the Brazilian says he is open to offers.

I have been there and loved the country. It has progressed well and is improving [in terms of the football]— Dani Alves

His contract expires in 2015 and he said: "I have been there and loved the country. It has progressed well and is improving [in terms of the football].

"In life, you can never say never. I am fine at the moment but I cannot rule anything out.

"Doors should always be left open."
