Fiorentina could turn to Southampton star Gaston Ramirez should they sell Arsenal target Stevan Jovetic this summer.
It has been widely reported that Arsene Wenger is considering a move for permed hitman Jovetic, who has scored 23 goals in his last 48 Serie A outings.
According to sources in Italy, Fiorentina have already drawn up a wish list of possible replacements for the 23-year-old - with Southampton's record signing Ramirez top of it.
The Uruguayan moved to St Mary's for £12m in the summer but despite some promising performances, his first season in England has been so far disrupted by injuries.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a swift return to Serie A, with Inter Milan also interested, but Fiorentina will have money to spend should they sell Jovetic.
And they may decide to use it on former-Bologna forward Ramirez, who has hit three goals in 18 appearances for the Saints.
