Manchester City and Arsenal target Stephan El Shaarawy is set to sign a new deal that will keep him at AC Milan until the summer of 2018.
The Italian forward has been in superb form this season, scoring 17 goals in all competitions.
And that has led to speculation linking the 20-year-old with a move to England, with Arsene Wenger admitting publically that he was a fan of the youngster.
But Corriere dello Sport claim that El Shaarawy has agreed a deal in principle that will see him stay at the San Siro for another five years.
And the newspaper report that it would take a bid of at least €40m (£34.7m) for Milan to even consider selling the forward, who is expected to form a deadly strike partnership with Mario Balotelli.
That would almost certainly rule the two English sides out of the race for his signature, with El Shaarawy set to spend the foreseeable future with Milan.
