Hamburg have insisted they are confident in persuading Tottenham target Son Heung-Min to extend his stay at the German club.
talkSPORT revealed on Wednesday that reigning Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund are set to rival Spurs for the South Korean star, who has scored nine league goals this term.
Liverpool and Arsenal have also been mooted as possible future destinations for the young winger, but Hamburg sporting director Frank Arnesen is hopeful he will continue his progress and development at his club.
He told the Hamburger Morgenpost: "Of course we have a requested financial amount for this player. Son is a young and very talented player.
"We also have the ambition to discuss a new contract with him. I’m sure we will find a solution for him to stay in Hamburg beyond 2014."
