Former Wigan and Tottenham defender on trial at Chicago Fire

Pascal Chimbonda, the former Wigan and Tottenham defender, is on trial at Chicago Fire with a view to joining the MLS side.

talkSPORT told you last month that the 33-year-old, who has one French cap, was keen to switch to the USA.

The full-back has been without a club since leaving Doncaster Rovers last year.

And now he is looking to impress officials at Chicago Fire, who are expected to make a decision on his future next week.
