The agent of Spurs target Jordy Clasie says Fiorentina are interested in his client - but insists no bids have been made for the promising playmaker.
Clasie, 21, has emerged as one of Holland's finest young talents in the past two seasons since securing his status as a first-team regular at Feyenoord.
The midfielder, who made his Netherlands debut back in September, was first linked with Tottenham last autumn as part of Andre Villas-Boas' bid to inject more youth into his side.
Tottenham have been tipped to firm up their interest in the summer but the player's agent, Wessel Weezemberg, has hinted the north London side will face competition for the 21-year-old's signature.
"I can confirm, I was in Florence and I watched Fiorentina against Inter," he told TMW.
"It was a good game, Fiorentina are a great team. Did I talk to [Fiorentina technical director] Eduardo Macia about Clasie?
"I talked with him about many things, including Clasie. He follows him from time to time, it's normal for a guy like to interest many teams, but for the moment there is nothing concrete."
