Chelsea join Man United in eyeing Benfica ace
Chelsea are interested in Ezequiel Garay, the Benfica defender who has been linked with Manchester United.
The European champions have a good relationship with the Portuguese club following David Luiz's move back in 2011.
And they hope to beat United to sign Garay this summer amid reports that Benfica are open to selling the defender.
The 26-year-old has a contract at the club until 2015 and United have long been linked with him.
Chelsea's interest could force Sir Alex Ferguson into action when the window re-opens, with the bidding expected to start around £10m.
