Fiorentina insist they do not need to cash in on Manchester City target Stevan Jovetic - but admit they would rather sell him to the Premier League champions than to Juventus.
City have been keeping tabs on the Montenegrin for the last year and enquired about bringing him to England last summer, only to see Fiorentina rebuff their advances.
Juventus were also in the hunt too but Fiorentina dismissed the interest of their domestic rivals.
talkSPORT told you earlier last week that the forward's future is set to be decided at the end of the season - and Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade confirmed that this is the case.
He told Corriere dello Sport: "The future of Jovetic? Yes, I can confirm that the decision on his future will be taken in June.
"It depends on how the season ends with Fiorentina.
"I was never authorised by the owners to re-open talks with Juventus. In any case, we would prefer to transfer him abroad, but we do not need to sell."
