Norwich City could capitalise on Sporting Lisbon's financial woes by launching a £10m bid for Dutch striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel.
The Portuguese side have mounting debt problems and could be forced into a fire sale at the end of the season.
Van Wolfswinkel, 24, first came to prominence during his time at Utrecht, where he scored 26 Eredivisie goals in two seasons.
He has continued his good form in Portugal - he's scored 22 league goals since the start of last season - and he has attracted interest from Norwich.
And the Canaries believe £10m could be enough to bring the Dutchman to Carrow Road in the summer.
