Atletico Madrid defender Miranda has snubbed a move to the Premier League after agreeing a contract extension until 2016.
Numerous sides in England had scouted the 28-year-old over the past few seasons.
Arsenal had been linked with him after watching him win the Europa League and Super Cup in the past year.
Miranda has been rewarded for his form with a call-up to the Brazil squad but a switch to England is not on the cards.
"I am very happy," he said. "I have been working to earn a new contract and I think this is a good deal for both parties.
"I feel great at Atletico, it feels like home. Madrid is a city I love. I am very happy here."
