Bermudian starlet set for one-week trial at Stoke

Stoke boss Tony Pulis will cast his eye over Chae Brangman

Bermudian starlet Chae Brangman is set for a one-week trial with Stoke.

The Devonshire Cougars hot-shot has hit 18 goals so far this season, his first as part of the senior side.

He was tipped as a future star when he hit three goals in just 18 minutes during his side's 4-1 win over Robin Hood in the Bermudian top flight last October.

And now the 18-year-old has landed himself a trial with Stoke and is set to arrive on Sunday in a bid to earn a contract with the Premier League club.

Brangman was spotted after impressing during a recent football festival, where scouts from the USA, Canada and England visited the island for five days to train the youth players.

The striker told Bermudian newspaper Royal Gazette: "I know it is going to be real hard because of the competition.

"I'm not familiar with it and I will have to adapt to the environment. But they (other players) have the same goals and dreams as me and want to go to the same place as me."
