Inter make offer for Lucas to fight off interest from Liverpool and Man United
Liverpool and Manchester United will have to act fast if they want to sign Brazilian sensation Lucas - after Inter Milan had a bid of £23m turned down by Sao Paulo.
Brazilian newspaper O Globo claims Inter will make a new offer of £25m for the talented midfielder at the start of January.
Lucas has been earning rave reviews in South America and appears likely to make a big money move to Europe next month.
Liverpool and Manchester United have been monitoring his progress and were hoping to make their move when the January transfer window reopens.
But Inter Milan appear to be the strong favourites to clinch his signature and hope a transfer can be finalised in the next few weeks.
