Blackburn insist Samba is not for sale
Blackburn have insisted Christopher Samba is not for sale.
The Congolese defender handed in a transfer request on Monday, amid interest from QPR and Tottenham.
But Rovers have stressed they have no intention of selling their captain in the January transfer window.
A club statement said: "Blackburn Rovers reiterate that team captain Christopher Samba is not for sale. The player signed a new contract with the club less than a year ago which runs to June 2015."
