Arsene Wenger insists he is no closer to making any moves in the transfer window and does not expect any major movement before the end of January.
The Arsenal boss, who brought Thierry Henry back to the club at the start of the month, has been linked with moves for a number of players, including Eden Hazard and Lukas Podolski.
But with the transfer window closing next Tuesday, Wenger is not expecting a busy period with players moving in or out of the club.
Wenger said: "At the moment we are not close to signing anybody. The transfer market is internal for us. We recently played with ten players out, to have only two or three out would help us a lot, much more than the transfer marker.
"You can look around at all the big clubs and who bought players? Nobody because you can’t find players at the moment who can strengthen big clubs."
