Tottenham confirm Nelsen deal
Tottenham have confirmed the signing of New Zealand international defender Ryan Nelsen on a free transfer.
Nelsen was released from his contract at Blackburn on Tuesday night and has now completed his switch to White Hart Lane after being granted international clearance.
The 34-year-old made more than 200 appearances for Blackburn after joining from D.C. United in 2005 but has yet to feature in the Premier League this season after picking up a knee injury.
A statement on Spurs' official website read: "We are delighted to announce the signing of defender Ryan Nelsen."
