Mega-rich Anzhi are hoping to tempt Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder over to Russia before the transfer window shuts on February 24.
The Dutch ace, who has been linked with United and title rivals Manchester City, is now the Russian side's number one target, according to reports in Italy.
They are hoping to reunite the playmaker with his former Inter team-mate Samuel Eto'o, who is currently being paid a record-breaking £350,000 per week at Anzhi.
Sneijder said a move to Russia was not for him back in the summer when Eto'o initially agreed to leave Inter but Anzhi are lining up an ambitious offer to land him before the transfer window closes.
Despite interest last summer, neither United or City reignited their interest in the 27-year-old World Cup finalist and it is unclear whether they will try to sign him at the end of the season.
