Former Barcelona star not training at Fulham

Alexander Hleb is not training at Fulham and is instead likely to sign for a Russian club until the end of the season, talkSPORT understands.

Reports had suggested the former Arsenal man was in training with the west London club after being released by Barcelona at the end of last month.

But that is not the case, with the Belarussian instead likely to move to Russia on a contract until the end of the season before he makes a decision on his future.

"He has been released by Barcelona but is not training at Fulham," said a source.

"The transfer window is closed in England, but there are other countries where it is now open [including Russia]. There is likely to be a solution until July and it will go from there."
