AC Milan defender Aye Taiwan has admitted QPR want to extend his stay at Loftus Road beyond the end of the season.
The Nigerian international spurned interest from Newcastle to link up with the west London side in January, and he has been impressed with the reception he has received at the club.
So much so that he is willing to enter into discussions about making the move permanent.
"The fans didn't believe in me in Italy but I'm happy here and PR want to sign me on a permanent basis," he said.
