Sir Alex Ferguson has hinted at a move for Ajax midfielder Christian Eriksen - and the Dane says he's open to joining Manchester United.
Eriksen had a relatively quiet game as Ajax lost 2-0 to United in their Europa League first leg clash on Thursday night.
The midfielder is tipped as one of the stars of the future and United scouts have tracked his progress for over a year.
United are joined by the likes of Barcelona and AC Milan in their admiration of the 20-year-old and Ferguson says he's always looking to snap up the next young star.
"He's a good player - a typical Ajax player who is good on the ball - but we already knew that," he told TV3+ after United's victory in Amsterdam. "We have many young players at the club, but we are always looking for talent. It's impossible to predict."
And Eriksen says he wants a move to a big club, although he is content at Ajax for now.
"It is great to hear and an honour to hear him saying positive things about me, especially as it's not just come from any old manager," Eriksen told Ekstra Bladet.
"It's something I have to get used to. I would say that he is one of the game's greatest managers. I want to play for a big club at some point, of course, but right now I am not dreaming of anything so big. My dream is for now only about Ajax."
