Barcelona star opens the door to Liverpool move

Liverpool target Seydou Keita has fuelled speculation he could join the Carling Cup holders in the summer.

The Barcelona midfielder was linked with a January switch to Merseyside but the deal didn't come off.

The Mali international, however, has still not agreed a new contract with the La Liga side and has admitted the lure of Anfield is a strong one.

"A challenge elsewhere would appeal to me, and Liverpool are a great team with great players," he said.

"We will wait until the end of the season to see what happens. I love Barcelona, it is difficult to find a better team than them, but I am ambitious and want to play football every week."
