Arsenal have suffered a major blow after Real Madrid's teenage sensation Pablo Sarabia signed a new contract to stay at the Bernabeu until 2013.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been tracking the progress of the 18-year-old midfielder, who is regarded as one of the best young talents in Europe.
Sarabia has yet to make his breakthrough into the Real Madrid first team, but has represented his country at every junior level and has been linked with a number of top European clubs.
Reports in Spain suggested he could make a move into the Premier League, but Wenger will now have to look elsewhere after Sarabia put pen to paper on a new deal to stay with the Spanish giants.
He will now be hoping to get his chance in the Madrid first team under new coach Jose Mourinho next season.
