Stoke set to move for ex-Pompey star
Stoke are tracking former Portsmouth midfielder Hassan Yebda.
Tony Pulis is desperate to strengthen his squad and wants to bring the Algerian international back to England from Benfica.
But the Britannia Stadium boss is refusing to meet the Portuguese side's £4.5m asking price, especially as he bought Sunderland striker Kenwyne Jones for £8m on Wednesday.
Stoke will have to move quickly to seal the deal, though, with Spanish side Malaga also keen on the 26-year-old.
