Ben Arfa desperate to force through Newcastle move
Newcastle target Hatem Ben Arfa is reportedly ready to refuse to play for Marseille in a bid to force through a move to St James' Park.
Ben Arfa is the subject of a loan bid from Newcastle - with the option of buying him at the end of it - but Marseille have dug their heels in so far.
Chris Hughton wants to sign the talented midfielder to add some flair to his Newcastle attack and remains confident a deal can be forced through.
According to sources in France, the 23-year-old is now ready to go on strike at Marseille after telling them he is desperate to move to England.
