Santos president Alvaro Luis De Oliveira is hopeful Neymar will commit his future to the club despite interest from Chelsea - with the playmaker's future set to be decided within the next few days.

The Brazilian starlet is wanted by Carlo Ancelotti at Stamford Bridge but the prospective deal is in the balance.

Brazil legend Pele has warned Neymar not to move to Chelsea and Santos have offered the 18-year-old a new and improved contract in order to persuade the talented teen to stay at the club.

We have offered the boy a new contract - here you can earn a lot of a true idol in Brazil— Alvaro Luis De Oliveira

And Santos president De Oliveira says the decision now lays in the hands of Neymar.

"We have offered the boy a new contract - here you can earn a lot of a true idol in Brazil," he said.

"I hope that before the weekend his agent will give us a definitive answer but we are not pressing.

"I do not know what will happen - the decision is in Neymar's hands now."
