West Ham flop set for move to Germany
West Ham defender Jonathan Spector is set to make a move to Germany in the January transfer window with Cologne the strong favourites to clinch his signature.
Spector, 24, has failed to secure a first-team place under Avram Grant this season and has fallen way down the pecking order at Upton Park.
The American international has German heritage and would favour a move to the Bundesliga.
Cologne have been monitoring his progress and are hoping to finalise a deal for the experienced defender in the New Year.
